We’re awkward in front of the camera, will you help us?
Absolutely. Most couples feel this way at first. I spend a lot of time with my couples so by the time we get to the actual photo session, we have broken the ice and it's like hanging out with your friend. Many couples tell me they forgot the camera was even there.
Do you help us plan the photography side of the wedding?
Yes. I’m involved from the beginning. We plan timelines, run through details, and talk through what matters to you so the day flows smoothly and feels relaxed. My experience with hundreds of boutique weddings means I can optimise your wedding timeline to make it an enjoyble day on your wedding day.
We want natural candid photos, not stiff posing. Is that your style?
Definitely. My approach is guided but based on you and your story, the point is to deliver your love story through photography. I give starting points while keeping you in control of your own personality while feeling relaxed, so photos feel genuine, emotional, and effortless.
Do you understand both Asian and Western wedding traditions?
Yes. As a Taiwanese photographer who has lived in Australia and New Zealand for over 25 years, I’m familiar with most cultures including asian and western and how to blend them seamlessly.
Will you be the one photographing our wedding?
Yes. I personally photograph and direct my team every wedding I take on, from start to finish. I limit bookings each year to ensure full attention for every couple.
What makes you different from other wedding photographers?
I don’t just take photos, I guide, plan, and support you throughout the journey until the very end of your wedding day. Couples choose me for the calm, confidence, and genuine love and care I bring to their once-in-a-lifetime wedding day. Most often become my friend and even have family photos with me after they have kids!
How long will I receive my photos?
Depending on your package coverage. Your full wedding gallery is delivered within 4–12 weeks. This allows time for careful selection, colour correction, and consistent, high-quality editing across your entire day.
Why does photo editing take 4–12 weeks?
Most weddings leave us with around 8,000–15,000 photos to carefully review and curate. Every image is thoughtfully selected and edited by our dedicated team to ensure consistent colour, tone, and storytelling throughout. This attention to detail means your photos feel timeless and beautifully finished, never rushed. We also deliver everything through a thoughtfully designed online gallery, so you can enjoy your images effortlessly, rather than sorting through thousands of files on a drive.
Can we choose the editing style of our photos?
Absolutely. Before your wedding, we’ll talk through the look and feel you love. You’re welcome to share reference images, mood boards, or past work you’re drawn to, so your photos reflect your personal style and story.
